What causes cellulite?

The causes of cellulite are not well understood, but there are several theories that have been put forth as explanations. Among these are:

• Hormonal factors - hormones likely play an important role in cellulite development.
• Genetics
• Diet - people who eat too much fat, carbohydrates, or salt and too little fiber are likely to have greater amounts of cellulite.
• Lifestyle factors - cellulite may be more prevalent in smokers,
• Clothing - underwear with tight elastic across the buttocks (limiting blood flow) may contribute to the formation of cellulite.

How can cellulite be removed?

Laser Hair Removal

At Lose It Right and Florida Advanced  Facial Rejuvenation we used Q switched lasers for laser tattoo removal.

The Ruby being the first Q switched laser, gives off a beam of a wavelength of 690mm, which works on only green and blue colors. The Alexandrite with the wavelength of 755 mm is effective on green tattoos. Finally, the YAG with 532 and 1064 nanometers is more effective on red and black tattoos. Yellow, pink and purple are more resistant to the laser treatment. They generally contain high metal oxides. They are difficult to eraser, but with more sittings, they will certainly fade away.

Tattoo removal can never be completed in just one sitting. You will have to go back again and again to the chair to get the laser treatment done the proper way. Normally, it takes about 6-12 sittings to obliterate the tattoo mark, and these will all be done within 4-6 weeks.

What can I expect from a microcurrent facelift?

The short answer: As we age, our body loses much of its natural electrical energy, much like a battery gradually losing its charge. On a cellular level, this leads to a breakdown of collagen and elastin in our skin, which leads to sagging and unevenness of texture; lines, wrinkles, and folds become the inevitable result. Beneath the skin, the facial muscles become increasingly contracted over years of facial expression and constant gravity, allowing the overall lift of our face to decline.

 

Microcurrent sends out  subtle electrical frequencies that mimic the body"s own electrical signals, thereby increasing the amount of ATP (adenosine triphosphate, the chemical fuel of human cells) by as much as 500%. These treatments are performed in small, localized areas of the body but, although they may seem cosmetic, they are not without risks. Radio Frequency Treatment

I am a morning person.  When I wake up I am usally hopeful about my morning and the things to follow during the day.  It is most difficult for me however, when things are not going as planned, how do I remain hopeful when my timeline gets a wrinkle in it? First, I have to recognize that I am not on track- typically easy for me to see.  I see it coming a mile off ,in fact.  Once I recognize that things have changed I must be willing to confront the hurdle and decide my next move.   When you are ready to commit to a lifestyle change you know there are often many obstacles to overcome.  The path to the goal is not always a straight one either.  Will I let the hurdle trip me, will I run around the hurdle, or will I jump it?
